Helping Our Children Learn
The "Y & School Program" is a community program that is run by the YMCA in seven Brandon schools. YMCA Coordinators work along with teachers with children who are in need of extra assistance. The children are given extra help with: lifeskills, homework, recreational activities, computers, self esteem and more. The program provides children with the extra help they need as well as building self-confidence and self-worth. The Y & School kids also receive access to the YMCA as part of the program.
