The YMCA offers three different classes of swimming lessons for the adult swimmer or non-swimmer. Each class is specifically designed to meet individual needs of participants. Swimmers have the opportunity to progress from basic water movement, to more advanced skills.

Adult Beginner |
This is an excellent class for those with a fear of the water or for those who have not had the opportunity to learn how to swim. Participants and instructors work together to set goals and learn basic swim skills and increase comfort in the water. |

Adult Intermediate |
This class is offered to those who are comfortable in the water and are wanting to learn swim strokes. Instructors and participants will work together to meet personal goals. |
